Newer childcare provider for a small non-profit in PNW. Gardener. Audible listener. Thirtysomething. Psyching myself back up for more good stuff! Emily. There were some interesting bits about my past, nothing illegal but far more moral and ethical gray areas than I presently explore. These days, Iโm most interested in growing forward. I look forward to scaling down my mass and continuing to bulk up my motivation muscles!

My Goals:
Get back into a healthy BMI, which is about what I weighed when I graduated high school, 35 pounds and several different pharmaceuticals (to address mood disorder) ago. Idea is to ease the pressure on my lumbar region (and other moving parts) so I'm in less pain and can have more joyful experiences.
Weight goals:
225 - Highest Weight (June 2020)
220 - 5 Pounds Lost (July 2020)
215 - 10 Pounds Lost (August 1, 2020)
213.75 - 5% Lost (~Aug 15)
210 - 15 Pounds Lost (August 30, 2020)
205 - 20 Pounds Lost
202.5 - 10% Lost (estimated to be in December 2020 with current plan)
200 - 25 Pounds Lost
191.25 - 15% Lost
180 - 20% Lost
175 - 50 Pounds Lost (estimated to be May 2021)
Fast Break Goal: Daily Get Up and Go Songs
Baby Day (1971) Melanie
You Gotta Be (1994) Des'Ree
Secret O' Life (1977) James Taylor
It's A Good Day (1946) Peggy Lee
Personality (1945) Johnny Mercer & The Pied Pipers
Accentuate the Positive (2008) Jo
My Program:
I'm signed up for premium coaching to help me get fired up about learning to take better care of myself! I enter my own foods according to the Spark suggested nutritional guidelines and want to make at least one Spark Recipe a week.
Personal Information:
My career is settled and stable, four years at a small Lutheran childcare - I've been lucky, if stressed, to work through quarantine. The pandemic did end up giving me a couple semesters off school, where I've been taking one class a term in order to finish new education requirements in Washington state. I have a stable living environment with a lot of garden that I've been neglecting but really like maintaining. I have an established, sexy friendship with a neat fellow I used to see more regularly before the pandemic, and even though we see each other far less often, our friendship has remained lovely and reliable. I'm in regular phone contact with my mom and my aunt. I have reliable, if bare bones, health insurance (no dental anymore, thanks recent changes in healthcare law). I have chronic back pain, diagnosed depression and anxiety that I medicate fairly successfully. Navigating symptoms of plantar fasciitis I'd prefer to ignore, but ignoring it really isn't helping...
Other Information:
I used to be involved with Codependents Anonymous and hosted a weekly workbook group for two years; I miss those friendships. For all that I have and work toward, I think I'm somehow quite lonely. Thank you for sharing the spark!
