    Hi Allie,

Sorry to hear about your health issues, I hope you get to feeling better soon. Perhaps you could speak to your doctor about referring you to a dietician? This helped me a lot. I have a couple of different medical conditions that were being affected by some of the foods I was eating, and the dietician helped me find some substitute foods that I could eat (and I actually like) that would help it so that the foods were not affecting my conditions or my meds. I wish you the best! Take Care! emoticon

It's so nice to have ppl actually inspiring you to be the best you can be!!! I love Spark PPL.
I am facing challenges already trying to get enough protein and carbs. But it's a path I have to stay on the thing I love about spark is you can see where you need to tweak your nutrition to be in the right amount for your daily needs.Very helpful..
I have so many health issues and none of them have been work together nutrition wise.Have been battling new diagnosis and how I am supposed to eat for each one.Very confusing so I gave up and gained back 20 lbs.
But I am taking one day at a time and praying it all comes together.
    Thanks again!!

    emoticon Allie,
You know how great this place is! Lots of informative articles and a supportive community. If I could give you one piece of advice it is to take it slow. Make small sustainable changes. This is for life and that works!

BTW, I started at age 61 and got to goal weight and have stayed there. Yay for you!
