My boyfriend proposed on Sunday night and I can't wait to share the rest of our lives together. But now for the fun part. I get to work on fitting into a wedding dress!!! So now is go time!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've been with Sparkpeople for over 3 years now and I've lost and gained more than I care to admit. It's not alot compared to what others have lost in a shorter amount of time, but I'm proud of myself. I've never given up. I've slid quite a few times, but never gave up. I've always gotten back on the wagon and that's what Spark has taught me. That this process is always full of learning, slipping, and forgiving. And I think the last is the big one. I've learned to forgive myself for my slips and mistakes. I would like to eventually make it down to 150 lbs. but I would be ok at 175lbs. for now. REWARD FOR GOAL: 220 pounds: Spend $10 at iTunes 210 pounds: A new yoga mat 200 pounds: A new tattoo on my right leg! (I can't wait!) 185 pounds: A completely new outfit. 175 pounds: A shopping spree at Sephora.

I'm a woman in her mid-30s who is trying to lose the baby weight from my daughter who is now 2.

I love to read and cook. I adore Nora Roberts and J.R.R. Tolkien. I love to peruse cooking websites. My mom, who has lost over 60 pounds is my total inspiration. I think the last time I talked to her she was close to losing 75 pounds. I'm so proud of her!!
