Introduction Text Thirty-something. Army wife. Mom of two. Writer. Goofy. Still obese. Seventeen times in ten years, I've failed to lose the weight and keep it off. The good news? I keep trying. (Written June 2013) Thirty-something. Army wife. First-time mom. Stay-at-home mom. Writer. Goofy. Obese. That last one is a word I wish I couldn't use to describe myself. But I am. The silver lining? My baby is under a year old, so people give me a bit of a pass. The nightmare? I only gained 11 pounds during pregnancy, and those are long gone. The truth is, I've been skating by on excuses, and it's time to stop. (Written July 2009)

Mini-Goals: First 10% by September 20, 2013 Over-all Goal: 50 pounds lost

Basically: Eat right, and move!

My passion lately has been learning and helping others to live with balance. I want the healthiest options possible for myself and my family without sacrificing our financial security or time with each other.
