I am the girl who was always chubby. I am the girl who was very fun to be around but nobody knew how self-conscious I was. I always thought that someone was thinking about how fat I am. I wore the baggy clothes in attempts to hide my rolls. I made jokes about myself to try to ease my mind.

I no longer want to be that girl. I want to be the girl that when I walk in a room and people look, I know that they are looking because I look good. I want to be the girl that my husband finds absolutely irresistible ... not that he doesn't already :) I want my boys to not have some kid at school pick at them because their mom is fat. I want those kids at school to say "Dang, his mom's hot!" LOL

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthier. When I started this journey I was not active at all. I was always able to do things despite being morbidly obese. I didn't really see it as a problem. Now that I have last 80lbs I know that it was a problem and I can do so much more now. I don't have a weight goal exactly but I know how I want my body to look & feel so I will know when I get there. :)

My Program:
I eat more whole foods, fresh fruits & veggies. Less fats. I drink 100oz of water per day. I walk 2 miles approximately 5 days per week on my lunch break at work. I work out 3-5 times per week with a DVD that is circuit training (Jillian Michaels) for about 55mins per workout.

Personal Information:
My name is April. I live in Pennsylvania. I am the proud mom of two teenage boys and have two boxers that I adore. I keep a saltwater reef tank (55 gallons) and have two ball pythons as well. I do work outside the home full time. I am happily married to the love of my life for over 18 yrs now.

Other Information:
My absolute favorite movie of all time has to be Forrest Gump. :) .. I love to be outside. I like flower & vegetable gardeing although I am still new to the veggie part of that. I love to go ATV riding in the mountains for the day.

    Because today's so special
    it really wouldn't do,
to send one simple birthday wish
to last the whole year through...
    So this wishes happy moments,
a day when dreams come true,
and a year that's filled with all the things
that mean the most to you.
    Happy Birthday!

emoticon Happy Birthday, DONE GIRL This is your best day of the year.

Those born on the Taurus-Gemini cusp are eternally young. They are energetic, prolific and once they find something that really appeals to them, they do it quite a bit.
They are also versatile. This versatility may cause them to wear themselves out because they try to do too much too frequently. They need to learn to limit themselves to create a balance.
Taurus-Gemini is a born communicator. They love active conversations on just about any topic you can imagine. They do have to be careful not to monopolize the conversation. It is all too easy for them to do.
They may be conflicted about certain things due to their nature. While they want to be earthy and stable, they are drawn to towards more unstable, frenetic behavior. They may not be sensitive to the feelings of others. While they can spend hours debating over their own emotional matters, they may appear rather unsympathetic or detached. They are prone to burning out, both physically and mentally. If they can learn self-discipline, they will be more successful.
Taurus-Gemini needs to keep track of their activity level with great care. They need to learn consistency when rejecting ideas or people. They need to learn how to gentle their approach. Confronting their own insecurities will help them grow. Resting is a good thing from time to time.

Taurus-Gemini can focus too much on money and possessions. They are usually gentle, dependable and tolerant of those around them. At the same time, they can be high strung and scattered. They are entertaining and make loyal friends who are fun to be around. They like to spend time eating good food and enjoying a rousing conversation.
Their strengths are their stability, intellectual and conversational skills and their perseverance. They are good at analyzing challenging ideas and have the ability to communicate those ideas to others. If they can learn to add the variety of Gemini to the dedication of Taurus, they can be very successful.
Broadminded and hardworking, Taurus-Gemini is also expressive, energetic, charming, intelligent, adaptable, shy, practical, mature, gentle, quiet, stable, restless, blunt, scattered, nervous, over-indulgent and changeable. They don't call this the Cusp of Energy for nothing.

Individuals born on the Taurus-Gemini cusp are independent and proud. They are very talented, especially when they learn how to get their inclinations to work together. If they get unhappy, they tend to get lethargic and apathetic. Learning to forgive is a blessing in their life.
They may have interests in art, music, travel or social activities. They attract many friends, though they should be cautious they don't over-commit themselves to too many relationships. They are generous people, who enjoy delving into many things.
