The only constant in my life has been wanting to lose weight. Everything else about my life and around me has changed, except for this. I am sick of a full closet of clothes I won't wear or barely fit in, sick of having to take photos at certain angles to look good. I have tried before and came close 150lbs to my goal weight but something terribly wrong happened! I lost sight of my goal, made excuses and went back to a lazy way of life. So I am vowing to myself that I will respect myself enough to try, to reach for this goal; one I have longed for and thought more of than anything else. I owe it to myself to keep getting up after I fall, after I push myself down and even after I lie to myself. The truth is I am abusing myself, using no self control. I am better than that and stronger, I have gotten through worse. Now is the time to prove it to myself once and for all!

I have done myself a great injustice, I have put my own self and interests second. No more, my education is just as important as my weight lose, my loving myself in a cute dress. I need to set my own priorities and losing this weight is more important than anything in my life right now. So I am going for it, for real this time because I am going to keep telling myself giving up is not an option. If I can stay the course long enough not only will I get results, but it can become a lifestyle.

So for me I will cross the stage for graduation looking my best. In December 2011 I will be 150lbs.

THE PLAN

Weigh self once a week morning time

Journal workouts and food

Work out 4-5 times a week weight lifting 3 a week
Going to join the YMCA for cardio classes
Alternating workout schedule

Week 1 work Week 2 off

Sun off Sun off
Mon cadio, legs Mon off
Tues cardio Tues cardio
Wed cardio, arms Wed cardio arms
Thurs cardio Thurs cardio, legs, abs
Fri cardio back & shoulders Fri cardio
Sat off Sat cardio, back, shoulders

Food 1200-1500 calories

Breakfast Entree,
Dairy or a protein serving
Fruit serving
Drink water

Morning Snack Dairy or protein serving

Lunch entree
Salad
Fat Free Dressing

Lowfat low cal dessert (my favorite strawberry shortcake with fat free cool whip and just the juice from the strawberries!)


My Goals

Be 150-160lbs by December 2011
lose 20lbs by December 2010 (not met)
Lose inches from arms and torso area
Exercise at least 4X a week 30-60 mins
Tone up my arms
Become even more flexible
Not have to wear control garments

30lbs- New photos of myself

40lbs- Possible abroad trip

My Goals:
I would like to just bring things in some. Especially in the the hip area. Whenever I wear a dress that isn't cut to flatter, it looks like I am wearing underwear that are too tight. You know the handles the slip over. I would love to be able to wear almost any cut I want.


My Program:
I am counting my calories. Keeping it simple just trying to stick with foods that have some value, other than just tasting good. I plan to workout 4-5 days a week doing a variety and then settling into the workout I like most. After class I plan to go to the YMCA and take an hour cardio class 4 days a week. Doing strength at the gym or at home 3 days a week. Drinking water and always being prepared, food ready, bag packed. Giving myself less excuses to slip up or skip a workout.



Personal Information:
As I stated above I am a nurse. I have no children and am not married. I currently am working towards my future. I am paying off debt (paid off Feb 2009), will be losing weight, saving money and hoping to continue schooling with photography, RN and for fun I would love to go on and learn more about construction and fixing cars.
