Hope your weekend is going well. As it gets closer to spring break time I find myself thinking back to my visit out to CA a few years back. I just loved that desert out by Palm Springs. (Palm Springs isn't really 'me' or my kind of place but seeing the sunshine and feeling warm sure was nice.
DH was trying to talk me into going away for the break but I find I'm so tired from work that I haven't got the gumption to pack and face the airport crowds to travel. Maybe we'll have an extraordinarily EARLY spring here and I'll be able to warm up here at home. Yeah, right......like that would ever happen.
Give the Druids a chase around the yard and tell 'em it's a greeting from my Bear!
I'm hoping you're taking care of yourself these days. I've been thinking about all the people I know who live in warm places now that the snow has finally arrived (on Sunday).
I seem to have developed quite an inversion to snow on the road after a near miss last spring while driving. I want to live in a snowless country. My DH will have no trouble getting me to pack my bags if he wants to move back to his old stomping grounds in Tucson.
How are the twins? My little Bear has once again taken to sleeping under the covers to stay warm at night. His idea of heaven is to lie in a sunbeam outside when the humidex is about 43 degrees. Our Airdale on the other hand preferred being outside in the snow. Animals are just as varied in their likes and dislikes as people, aren't they?

Yes, our dogs are wonderful. And they know it -- and how much they are loved. We've had some fabulous dogs. I cherish the memories of the ones now gone on -- and relish the days with the two still making our lives brighter every day (and at present barking at the back door to come in!). 3965 days ago

Hi, Thanks for commenting on my blog. Nice to know someone else is pacing around her house at night to make up the last of the 10000 steps! I've found putting a CD in the player makes me walk faster sometimes (or dance -- the dogs really wonder about the dancing!).
Your dogs are wonderful. Labs are very special. 3965 days ago
