Hello! I am a young 46 year old single mom starting over again. I need to lose 45 pounds. I've tried dieting over and over but failed. Counting calories worked for me once when I was only a little over weight. So this time I hope to succeed with the help of SPARKPEOPLE. I am going slow getting into the habit of logging my eating. It's very bad. But I am more aware and I will soon make some new changes to my eating habits.

My Goals:
I hope to lose five pound by Sept 7, 2008.
I hope to be working out 30- to 45 minutes a day by Sept 30. I'm taking baby steps.

My Program:
 Changing my eating habits, and adding daily exercies.

    Hi, and thanks for the sparks goodie!

    You wrote that you are a newly credentialed teacher w/out a job. If you live in CA there will be jobs aplenty in the next month as school districts add classes to adjust to their student numbers. I live in one of the few districts that is consistently fully staffed. I love my job! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
