Thanks for adding me as a friend. I've been here a while, but not too long ago I got on a walking kick. Till then I hated exercise for the most part and still do, for that matter. As near as I can tell, I kept stretching my ten minute walk from back in April or so four or five days a week and got up to 20 or 25 minutes a day. I then decided to fly in the face of wisdom and walk every day with no rest days, so about June 15 I started and am still at it three months later. I do hold it to 20 minutes on a couple of slow days, but try to stay over a half hour the other five. It's become a habit and I'll have to find a winter replacement for bad weather because the combination of that and intermittent fasting have me losing weight again after about a two year plateau. BTW, I hit 5K today for the first time. It took over an hour, but I made it. I'm over seventy, arthritic, diabetic, etc. So my point is, stick with your walking goals. Most everyone can do it in some form and it will produce results for you as well. Good luck!
