Fitness Minutes: 960

My Goals:
my goals are to lose 60lbs or more by summer 2010. I am on the way to it! my other goal is to join a Masters Swim team nearby and get back into competing.

My Program:
 I am working on changing my eating habits so that i eat healthier and to exercise everyday. I take the dog for walks everyday and now need to incorporate some strengthening exercises into it.

 I love to read especially crime mysteries. I do like the romance books too but have had enough of them for now. I love to make jewelry for my family and myself, do other crafts and my real love is gardening!!!

    Hi LINDA R:

    My youngest daughter is LInda Marie. and I am also a widow too soon. To say the least to start dating again has been an experience but I have a friend now that seems to like me and we have dated a couple of times with more to come. Good luck with yours . I have joined the club and the goals but my swimming pool is not ready to swim yet. The weather has to get a little hotter and I have to get the steps in it. I will start the goals when I can. I was up to 100 laps in a 38' by 18' pool. 4' to 5' in areas. I love to swim but My back has 10 degenerating disc in my back from the neck to the spine and it kind of stopped the 100 laps. I am going to fight my way back. I made 5 laps last year and this year I hope to do 15. Little by little is the game. Since I live in an area where we get all seasons I keep the pool open till the first week in October and then it is too cold. May God watch over you always.

    Saw from the ladies room that our birthday's are the same. Figure we're long long twins so adding you as a spark people friend, too. I mean, it's just too cool to pass up knowing someone born on the same day as you, right?

    No problem. I've been through things myself. It's often dark in there, so I know where you're coming from.

    Time will help, and keeping busy, but especially keeping busy around people. Even if it means volunteering at a local soup kitchen or something, it can really really help...
