Hi everyone, I am Alexis. I decided to change my page as it was a depressing reminder that I was once much smaller than this, and it's very tiring. All you need to know about me is I've been up and down between 180-230 for 5 or 6 years now. Every time I get down to 180ish, I shoot right back up, even higher than last time.

A typical meal for me is a large meal at a fast food place. I don't like veggies. I hate exercise. I do not like wheat products. I hate almost everything that is considered 'good for you.'

I am 22. I started spark when I was about 17 or so, at 182 lbs. Obviously, this is a life long problem for me. I've shed way too many tears over this. I need to get my butt in gear NOW.

With the help of an extremely supportive boyfriend and sparkfriends, I know that I can do this. One step at a time.

Fitness Minutes: 952

My Goals:
For the greater good:
-Health! Of course!
-To run 30 minutes without stopping (MET: 9/18/2010)
-New goal: Run 10 miles!
-Not crave ALL the awful foods I eat
-My weight will spiral out of control as I age. If I'm this much at 21, I shudder to think...

Superficially:
-Shop at the cute places my friends shop
-Obtain piggyback ride from someone
-Wear a pink polka dot bikini!


My Program:
Eating less, walking (running?) more. That simple. For now.

Just started the C25k program!
Day 1- 4/22/10
Going into week 5!: 5/13/10
Starting to train for 10 miles: 10/8/10



Personal Information:
I'm 22. I've tried this at least 7 solid times. I'm a chronic yo-yo dieter, and it sucks.

Usually I start somewhere in the lower 200's and land in the mid 80s before I stop. Done this about 5 times.


Other Information:
I just want to use this box for my stats:
219.4 (6/1/11)- Squeezing into size 16 pants (refusing to buy 18), XL shirts, 40D are too tight, can't run at all.

    emoticon Just dropping by to say we miss you and your posts on our BLC Team, the Saucy Sapphires. I noticed that you mentioned that you felt discouraged. I know it is hard to lose weight and it seems there are so many things to focus on ... but let me encourage you to keep trying and just start with one goal. How about just 20 min of exercise each day this week? You could post on the saucy Sapphire tracking thread and chalk up 5 points for each day in both the weekly and the weekend challenge. Then post on our conversation thread and report your success. This will give us all an opportunity to cheer you on. To begin with focus on maintaining your weight while developing an exercise habit. We are rooting for you and want you to succeed. Hard as it may seem to you now, I know you can do this. Don't give up - we care about you and we need you. If I can help you, feel free to email me.
