When I got fit and happy I promised myself I would not be one of those people who put the weight back on. But tada, here I am again. Life throws you some knock down punches sometimes, which is fine, as long as you get back up.
I'm getting back up.

How to Lose 2 pounds per week

Every time you burn 3,500 calories more than you consume, you lose 1 pound. Diets come in all levels of complexity, but that equation is the basic truth of weight loss. How fast you lose that pound is as crucial as managing your calorie count, according to MayoClinic.com. This is where fad diets fail. Quick weight loss is difficult to sustain. Two pounds a week is an obtainable goal and a safe way to lose weight that stays off.
Interested in losing weight?

Calculate your daily calorie requirement. This is an estimate of how many calories you need to maintain your current weight. Multiply 14 by your weight to determine your daily calorie requirement. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, your estimated daily calorie requirement is 2,240.

Step 2

Subtract 1,000 calories from the daily requirement. This is the number of calories you should try to consume each day. In the example, a 160-pound person should consume 1,240 calories each day.

My Goals:
Be swimsuit fit.

Reduce my body fat, increase muscle mass.

My Program:
I have a standard program of 3 cardio days and three strength training days. I keep it interesting by doing short programs from Oxygen. Aerobic is primarily treadmill with some outdoor walking while strength training is dumbells and SoloFlex, P90X.



Personal Information:
I'm married with one child. I work full time in marketing.

I'm determined to be fit mom not dumpy mom.
