Trying to get past day three and stay on a plan.

My Goals:
Initial Goals:
Track my food with Sparkpeople budget---Look at calories like my bank account. Know where I spend it and how much.
Make 10 minutes of movement a habit. (Reevaluate when this is consistent)
Read at least 5 verses of the Bible a day. (Reevaluate when this becomes consistent)
Talk to God first before I talk to others.
Practice meditation and relaxation.
Find 1 thing that will help lessen stress and anxiety and incorporate that into my daily life--Reevaluate when that becomes a habit.

My Program:
Sparkpeople Calorie Budget.
10 minutes of exercise a day--weights--walk--doesn't matter
5 Bible Verses
Practice talking to God First before others
Practice relaxation and meditation
Practice 1 think that helps release tension

Personal Information:
In my fifties, mother of three adult children and grandmother of one. Oldest son is out and married. Youngest is ready to leave the nest. Middle child is special and will need my care for life. Mother lives with us.

I like science fiction, kdramas, old (non scary) horror movies, musicals and old detective movies. I listen to kpop, classical, 40's, and music that is labeled as "thinking music" when working. I like the idea of planning but really don't follow through. I also like to watch the shows where they take an old house and restore it to what it was. I appreciate those who are creative but I have a tendency to be more analytical.

Other Information:
Morbidly obese --use food for coping. Bad habit. Now I want to focus on dealing with anxiety and fear; work on my health. Just looking at it one day at a time.
