Oh goodness I am glad we were "introduced". Some insightful questions... 1. Not particularly, but they have excluded somebody else ( for being friendly to me I think) and spend time casting evil looks and otherwise ignoring her. No outright nastiness as far as I know. 2. Just the miserable sour faced gobby pair of them. They are not the "popular mean girls" they are just nasty bullies and they don't tend to interact widely with others. Obviously sometimes, but never regularly. 3. Yes. One parent immediately contacted me asking if I was ok, I didn't trust to talk freely but it seemed genuine. And another approached me on the playground after the group chat crap asking was I ok. But one parent who responded negatively about the things said of me, a week or so later asked me to watch her daughter as she was getting a lift and they needed to get their child to school too. She was happy leaving her daughter with me for 5 minutes until the doors opened. So I wonder how much was platitudes towards the idiot spouting off or if it was genuinely believed. 4. Some discussion in the day, including opening up about the Autism diagnosis I'm waiting for. Some discussion privately on WhatsApp after that incident.
And if it does affect her in school I do believe they will intervene. As demonstrated by the name calling at the car being dealt with previously. And I felt easier knowing the head didn't believe their "disjointed" tales. 1 day ago
