I have been obese ALL my life. I was abused as a kid. I love animals...have 2 dogs & 3 cats. I took full-time care of my physically disabled (United States Army veteran) husband for 13 years and am still taking care of my mentally disabled daughter. It is a 24/7 job for me, with no days off and very little "me" time. I have tried many different diets & programs, but never completely successful with any of them. I would like to gain lots of friends, who would not mind listening to me even on my bad days. I have been married for 23 years to my blessing of a husband. UPDATE on 11-14-11: Well I have come to the conclusion that it is just not meant for me to loose weight. I am ugly, I feel horrible (because of the weight, Fibro, Chronic Fatigue syndrome, scoliosis, birth defect with ankle, depression, sleep apnea & migraine headaches), I have lost interest in life, and I am sick & tired of being sick & tired. No matter what I do or do not do, nothing gets better!! UPDATE on 3-30-14: My wonderful & precious husband of 27 years, passed away on 3-3-14. To say that I am heart broken........oh, I am just beyond words! :-(

My Goals:
I want to be healthy and feel healthy. I have never been either one in my entire adult life. I don't know what it is like to feel good about yourself and have self confidence.....I want that! I want to be able to walk into a room full of people and not worry about what every one is thinking about me. I want to be as healthy on the inside and outside as possible.


My Program:
I am drinking mostly water, and a lot of it. I am eating more veggies, fruits, and whole grain things. I am trying to stay away from anything fast-food. I am exercising as much as my physical health will allow....usually 3 or 4 times a week. I am trying to have a upbeat attitued, even though most days for me that is really hard to accomplish.



Personal Information:
My name is Starr. Have lived in Oklahoma for 25 years. Have 4 kids, 1 mentally disabled adult daughter still living at home. I take full-time care of my mentally challenged DD Love animals, and have 4 four-footed babies. 2 dogs, 2 cats. Love 50's & 60's music, si-fy, thrillers, and Army & medical TV shows. ( The two latter may be because my DH was a nurse in the Army.) Enjoy reading/watching Joyce Meyer Jerry Jenkins, Tim LaHaye, and Daniel Steel. Would LOVE to go to Australia someday.

All things are possible thru God, and LOTS of patience!!!
