Introduction Text I am a 62 year old woman with COPD and in 2001 had a a brain aneurysm bleed onto my brain. This resulted in brain surgery. I believe I have hidden behind these things to keep from being active. As a result I am overweight and out of shape. I will no longer hide! I will fight for my health!!! I have been a member of SPARKPEOPLE for awhile now. I love this site. I have learned so much and meant the nicest people. I always have found support or a kick in the butt (depending on which was needed) from my Spark friends. I am definitely an emotionally eater and I am trying to learn what sets me into my eating binges and more importantly what started me into binge eating. So while I delve into this I will continue to eat and exercise to a healthier me. I will embrace each day and remember it is good to be alive!

My goal is basically to lose 25 pounds, but more importantly to get healthy. I figure if my family sees me getting healthy they may want to join me

My program is to stay within my calorie and to exercise at least 5 days a week.



I had an anuerysm bleed onto my brain in 2001, I think that I have been using it as an excuse not to exercise as much as I should. I've decided to be brave and live my life all the way.
