Strong and healthy
60 years old this year and determined to be fit, strong and drop a few pounds so that I can be active and healthy. That was two years ago and I have gained! I am back and determined. I lost a brother this year due to heart attack and he was 49. My younger sister was just diagnosed with diabetes, I am determined to drop some weight.
Fast forward three years and Im still at it. Healthier and determined to stay fit.
So I have to update this, I still struggle ...

So I have to update this, I still struggle with weight, still try daily and overall very happy with SP. Great community of supportive people.
Update fast forward and i am now 64 and 25 pounds heavier than I was when I originally wrote and more frustrated at my own failure to win the battle of obesity. Not only did I gain what I lost but I gained more. So I started again this November and I am determined and I am leaning on my Spark Friends. Trying to build a network of friends, something I never did so i am adding contacts. Hopefully more support will work for me and hold me accountable. I am being totally honest about my weight which was a big start.
