My Journey Within


Hi, I'm Susan and I want to make lifestyle changes. I call this process "my journey within". Because most overeating problems come from what's eating you and not what you are eating, I must travel inside to try and deal with those issues so I can get on with the rest of my life.

My Goals:
My goal is to be able to walk and have good balance again. (I can walk now but with a lot of pain and not too far and can't stand for long periods)

I plan to work until 70. Wish me luck!

My Program:
 Baby steps for me. Changing one thing at a time.




Personal Information:
I'm born and raised in Culpeper, VA in central Virginia about an hour from Washington,DC. I retired from the telephone company and found a new career in Education.

Other Information:
 I enjoy quiet times with my dog, Jake while watching good television programs. I enjoy a good book and spending time with grandchildren.

    Thanks for the blog comment. I did do it once, got all the way down to 210, then things went awry! I'm finding it much more difficult this time around, more difficult to get moving, to eat the things I should and avoid the things that are bad. Maybe 2016 will be a great year for both of us!
