My name is Anna. I'm a 40 year old mother of two boys. Although I love my life, sometimes I feel like the last nine years "happened" to me instead of me purposefully living my life. I'm here to take back my life by eating healthy, finding balance, organizing my home and planning ahead. I lost quite a bit of weight with Spark People in 2011, but gained it back over time (and without dedication). My health has started to suffer and I am recognizing a very unhealthy relationship I have with food. I'm back with a vengeance. I want to be fit and an example for my family and I want it now!

My Goals:
2016 Goals:

* eliminate 80% of processed foods from my diet 90% of the time.

* run a sub 2 hour half marathon at the Mo Cowbell half marathon in October.

* finish a full marathon at the Rock and Roll St. Louis marathon next October (2017)

* work toward being financially responsible with my husband.

* work toward becoming more spiritually connected.

* create meaningful opportunities and educational experiences for my two sons.

* identify unhealthy relationships with people and food.

* run 25-35 miles per week.


My Program:
* 1800 calories per day
* track foods I eat
* track exercise
* at least 30 minutes of cardio per day.
* Basically checking in with myself.
* balancing my time and focus between personal/ professional/ family.



Personal Information:
mom of two rambunctious little boys, wife of one very supportive husband, lover of books, teaching, soccer, being a mom, scrapbooking


Other Information:
Why I'm on this journey:
* lower cholesterol
* lower blood pressure
* be more active with my kids
* get my butt off the couch
* live with purpose
* decrease my risk for heart disease.
* look hot
* build incredible muscles.
* eventually join an indoor soccer team
* make friends with like-minded people.
* introduce an active lifestyle to my family.
* learn to love preparing meals and using whole foods.
* finding balance between personal family and professional.
* I am officially obese (yuck)
* I'm sick of being tired.
* to challenge myself to be a better person
* to be a better partner with my husband.
* to increase my motivation in areas like organization and house cleaning.

    Why not join the X-WEIGHTED CHALLENGE? We're all ages, all fitness levels, all striving to live a healthier life. There is always something to learn from each other. These teams are also a great source of motivation! We can become healthier by working together and making new friends as we go. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. It is similar to the Biggest Loser team. There are 3 teams that compete within the X-Weighted team. We do ATC (All Teams Challenge) various challenges (nutrition, fitness etc.) The main requirement is to post your weight weekly. The ATC challenges and/if individual teams have challenges are optional (however, very beneficial). If you have any questions, please let me know.
