Introduction Text I have been heavy all of my adult life. I have had diabetes for 13 years. So far, I have relied on oral medications to control my blood sugar, but have not been as compliant with the eating side of management. I am hit or miss with the exercise component. I come and go here, but during a time of Sparking regularly, I acquired a few friends. I may just be lurking in the background. Jen

Freestyle Libre glucose monitoring (disc on the back of my arm which records information to be uploaded to sensor and/or phone)

2 grown children, one 18 year old who is currently living with his dad.

I work as a Physical Therapist Assistant at a hospital. Have been doing this for the past 4 years, and love what I do in spite of the frustrations at times.
