My Goals:
Are to hit a healthy weight that allows me to be active again! I want to run 5K races and hike for a weekend!

Goals to get there are to finish Turbo Fire! and start registering for 5K runs/races so I can get a gauge on where I am and where I have to go!

My Program:
My husband recently moved to Denver for a job and is home every two-three weeks for a weekend. Finally some control! Not that he is the reason things get out of control, I use him as an excuse!
My program consists of:
1. Making a menu weekly
2. Dividing the recipes that I cook into their portion sizes before serving
3. Tracking what I eat so I stay on track with my menu
4. Using Spark People at least during the weekdays and my SP App on the weekends
5. TURBO FIRE! I love it!
6. Keeping myself on a schedule
7. Using the dogs as an excuse to get out and exercise

Personal Information:
My name is Megan and I live in Oregon. I was born in California and lived in Washington for a time as well. When I graduated HS, I moved to Oregon for college and haven't looked back. When I lived on campus I kept pretty much to myself and became a gym rat. I worked out, studied, ate and slept. That was about it. Off campus I would run to campus and then workout some more. When I get to a healthy weight and lifestyle I was able to cut back the working out at the gym and do more active things like hiking and scuba diving. I even lived in Greece for a study abroad and kicked some booty walking everywhere there. I met my husband and pretty much stopped. We found ourselves working full time and when we were done with work would rather spend time in front of the tv. I was a huge bride. Yuck. We've tried to lose weight in thr past, but I think this living in two different places is going to help us. We both don't have a lot to do outside of work so we focus on ourselves and our

    GOOD MORING!! (: This week is busy with COOKIE sales still. UGH. Last week though WOO HOO. BUT I am planing on at least walking the 3 mile look I did 2 times last week. I ran it on Wednesday and then Walked it with my daughter. (: I was SOOO SORE lol You can totally do the 5k!! (: I believe in you!! (:
