July 2020: Life has thrown me many curveballs since I hit my goal weight in 2010. I obviously didn't learn all the lessons I needed to because here I am again. Thankfully, Spark is still here, right where I left it. 💕 ------ ++++++++++++ 11/15/2010: I have spent most of 2010 working on me. I started this journey at 170 pounds, but it was not my highest weight. At 5'2", 170 pounds is considered Obese. With the awesome tools on Sparkpeople and the even more awesome support of all my SparkFriends, I have transformed myself into someone I hardly recognize. Not only am I lighter and thinner, but I am happier and healthier! While getting to my goal weight will be a victory, I feel like I have already won. I have my life back! I have more energy than I've had in more than a decade. I run and play with my children and sometimes outlast them! I don't have to catch my breath walking through a mall or climbing stairs. I am no longer battling the constant fatigue I have felt for years. To me these are far more precious victories than reaching that number on the scale, NOT that I'll complain when I see 120. ;0) So here is to all my SparkFriends, new and old. Thank you for all your support. Thank you for pushing me when I didn't want to exercise, for making suggestions when I hit plateaus, for helping me be reasonable in my goal setting, and for loving me even when I whined. You all are the best and I wish you many victories in your Spark Journeys.

    Checking in with you to see how you are doing? How is your take two going? I go serious about September 30- so it has been a month and I am down 7 pounds (not bad). Started a new program I like and feeling good about the results but this is still only the first week. I wanted to offer you some support and see how it is going for you.     Hey there. How have you been? Its been awhile since i been on here. Been busy with work and the kids football. I wanted to see how you been and i hope you are keeping up with your journey. i am still walking everyday, and eating right. I lost 13 pds so far. I am so proud of myslf. Well i hope to talk to you soon. I hope you guys beat the storm.

    Hey!! Great to hear from you, so glad you're back. That does sound like an unfortunate trail of events. Were you able to stay on track while all that happened? If not, tomorrow is a new day!
    I have been doing well. Staying on track and not even emotionally eating even though I've been pretty darn stressed with school and work. I leave tomorrow morning for San Francisco where I'm running a half marathon Sun and taking a vaca from Thur-Sun. I'm super excited but just have a lot to do to prepare, still have to pack and I have 4 tests next week so I had to get majorly ahead. I think I'm in okay shape but I'm gonna have to study while on vaca to stay fresh, boo.
    I am excited about the half marathon tho, It wasn't my best training but I think I did okay. I have been burned out a bit on running so I'm taking a break after this. Hopefully I'm not too burned out to finish it strong. I have to keep a good pace so I don't miss my flight back on Sunday lol. It's going to be a close call but I'm crossing my fingers it'll all work out.
    what else have you been up to? Any plans for this weekend? our timing didn't work out too well since I'm about to leave for a while when you're coming back, but I'll catch up with you next week! Have a great weekend and rock it with nutrition and exercise, I know you can do it!!
