The Hitchhiker's Guide to Personal Well Being
We each travel this globe on our own quest. As we travel, we cross paths of fellow travelers who touch our lives. As some leave us, we shake our heads and wonder why they were placed into our paths. With others, the journey together has been rich and rewarding and each are better for having been a so-journer.
May each be blessed with finding persons who will help them on their journey so that they reach their goals.

My Goals:
1. To take this journey "one step at a time."
2. To be kinder and gentler with myself and with others.
3. To remember the tortoise and that persistence pays off.
My Program:
Making a commitment is the first step.
Increased activity level and sensible eating are key.
Giving and receiving support from others who are also working toward a healthier lifestyle is imperative to sticking with the plan.
By March 31, 2014, I will weigh under 175 pounds and lost another 12 inches.
By June 30, 2014, I will weigh under 150 pounds and lost an additional 10 inches.
By December 31, I will weigh under 135 pounds and lost another 6 inches.
Personal Information:
I am the youngest of six children (3 boys and 3 girls), born in the great "Show-Me state" which is only one step from heaven.
Widow of a wonderful man who is very bright and who is so thoughtful of others. We have one son who has End Stage Renal Disease and I am his partner for home dialysis. Our dog is a party (white with black mask and spots bi-poo (bichon/poodle mix) and fills the house with much joy.
I love my church family and enjoy traveling, learning, volunteering, reading, writing, cooking, and scrapebooking.
Other Information:
My favorite verse is "Be ye kind, one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another as God, for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
