    first question - have you talked to a doctor about your diet and MS? and difficulty loosen weight? If all is OK, then a couple of observations.

    Like you, I couldn't lose weight on South Beach of Atkins once I went off phase 1 and realized I couldn't live like that. Also, like you, love carbs and since I don't eat much meat/chicken/fish, do eat a lot of carbs. they tend to be whole grains, veggies, fruits and have lost and maintained 80 lbs., so this approach works for me.

    You may not be eating enough calories, Spark doesn't recommend going below 1200 cals/day. You also may be underestimating your calories and eating more than you think. When I was losing and hit a plateau that was often the case....forgetting to add the little snacks and bites.

    What kind of exercise can you do? Losing weight is about 80% what you eat so exercise is a good addition, but not necessarily needed to lose weight. It is however just plain good for you.

    You'll find great informative articles here and a supportive community . Getting active here both giving and getting advice is very helpful.
