I don't have to do it. Resolutions are notorious for being broken. Why exercise, why eat right, why socialize, why volunteer, why....???
I don't have to do it. But it's good for me. It's good for my body, my health, my mental well-being, my family, the community and my spirit.
I'm choosing a life of activity, good food, growing friendships and connection to my surrounding community.
I'm using SparkPeople to help me develop healthy routines and give me the friendly reminders and encouragement to stay on this journey.
I have a wonderful husband of the same mindset and four kids that thrive when I'm at my best.

Complete January Challenge
Go Paddle-boarding
Do Run for the Roses 5k
Lose 10 pounds by Valentines Day.
Go Rock Climbing with family.

My Program:
Track my food, exercise and goals daily.

Build Confidence by finishing projects (declutter books, taxes, New Year's letter)

January Fitness Challenge with Coach Nicole with 30 min cardio.

Stretch daily

Spend time in prayer and reading inspirational quotes.

Spiritual growth: Worship and hour, study an hour, serve an hour.

Personal Information:
41 year old wife and mom of 4.
Youngest is 10 so its about time I stop carrying my pregnancy weight :o)

Other Information:
Books: Romance junkie and sometimes mysteries. Not into vampires but enjoyed the Twilight series books (movies were so bad that I enjoyed them). Jane Austen books and most movies are tops on my list.
TV: Remington Steele, Big Bang Theory, Gilmore Girls
