“ THE BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY OF TODAY CAN ONLY BEGIN WHEN WE LEARN TO LET GO OF YESTERDAY “ 2013


Today is a brand new day, I am in the process of letting go of my yesterdays because the only way they will help me with today is the lessons that the Lord taught me during those days..

I am back on Spark people after about 3 years, and am looking forward to getting started once again with setting those goals.

There has been so many things that have happened, but the main thing to remind myself and my friends is that God walked with me each and every day, and with Him ...

I am looking forward to making new friends, getting in touch with old friends and working towards arriving at my goal weight..

My Goals:
My Long Term Goal for 2010 is to reach my goal weight which will be to lose this last 40 pounds.

My mid-term goal is to lose 2 pounds per week for the next 12 weeks..( Now if I don't , then I will do some modifications, but this is my goal)

My short term goals are weekly which will be :
Stay on my Program
Track my food , water and exercise
Exercise at least 10 min. per day, adding 5 more min. each week.

My Program:
 My program is to stay within my calorie range of 1200 - 1500 calories per day eating healthy calories. I plan to put good fuel in my body so that I will feel better.




Personal Information:
I am a born again Christian who loves the Lord with all of my heart and consider it such a joy to walk with Him daily!!!
Married ( this year will be 49 yrs.)
Mom - 3 Grown Children
Grandma of 7 grandchildren
Great Grandma of 4 great grandchildren.

Leader of a Weight loss program in our community.

President of Spiro Nutrition Center for Senior Citizens

    Dropping by to wish you a Blessed Easter Weekend and share a special Easter Poem....

    Easter Means Eternal Life

    A perfect God demands a perfect justice;
    He cannot let us get away with sin.
    We used God’s gift of our free will to trespass,
    So heaven’s gates were closed; we couldn’t get in.

    Our sin required our blood, a sacrifice,
    To atone for all the wrongs that we had done.
    "But I love them!" cried our Father, filled with sorrow;
    "I’ll send my only Son to be the one."

    Good Friday marks the slaying of our Jesus,
    The unblemished lamb, the perfect sacrifice.
    He took our guilt and blame upon Himself,
    So we could be with Him in paradise.

    On Easter morning, he came back from death;
    He vanished from the tomb, the empty grave.
    His resurrection means eternal life
    For us, the ones he came to earth to save.

    This summarizes all the Easter story
    And because of it, we’ll be with Him in glory.
