Future Skinny Bride!!!


HI I am Shay! My life is pretty great!! My fiance & I bought a home almost 2 years ago together, I have amazing family & freinds, and I love my job!I am getting married on October 18, 2008 to the love of my life!! We are getting married at Boxtree Lodge in Vinton, VA! Pics are in my gallery :O)

    Hey, thanks for the comment. Well it is possible to feel great and to loose weight with hypothyroidism! Yet, it is harder than ever.....I will tell you that I lost most of my weight on a low carb diet.... 40 pounds to be exact.... now I have changed because I am tired of eatting so much protein and because I just want to be healthy. I still believe that low carbing jump starts any diet program especially for people with hypothyroidism. The reason being that insulin is keeped under control and food cravings are virtually eliminated after about a week. Its true that calories are what counts, but when you have hypothyriodism your metabolism slows down....meds help.... excersise helps even more....

    I think I'm 10-11 weeks along, my 1st ultra-sound is on the 28th. It keeps getting pushed further away. So I guess I'll get my actual due date, and make sure I'm only having one child then. I can't wait. I spoke with my obgyn yesterday, and she said this is definitely a miracle baby, she can't believe I'm pregnant. I live an hour drive from the closest hospital, so it's been hard to get an appointment that my fiance and I can both go to, and my son wants to go to! I'll let you guys know as soon as I do! Thanks!

    i am sorry that you have gotten so many negative messages...I got the same thing growing up and sadly belived it. Now I am 45 and just STARTING to learn that I am okay!
    You are a wonderful beautiful woman...your smile is awesome! Keep moving forward. You can do this...you are very worth it.

    Hey girl! Thanks for the nice comment. I'm glad someone else cried during the Bachelor...LOL I'd love to have a little girl. My man thinks I'm having twins! We both have them in our families. I'm not sure I could handle that. I'll find out next week! I like your page!
