Hello, my name is Sarah. I have joined sparkpeople to lose a bit of weight and more importantly to learn more about food and nutrition. I would love to find new ways to stay active also. Cooking is my new goal. I love food and I really love to cook. I have found that it is thoroughly therapeutic for me. Healthy cooking with good, natural, pesticide, hormone, chemical and whatever junk the government is putting into our food, free ingredients is something that I am really passionate about at this present time. I tend to fixate on things and then change it up and obsess about something else for awhile.

On a more technical note, I would really love to get my BMI at or around 20. I realize that the BMI is a primitive guideline to your weight and body type but it is a goal none the less.

My Program:
I just want to focus on eating smaller portions. I know I am not going to strength train until my schedule slows down a bit but I have been walking to work and school instead of taking public transportation and not snacking as often. So far so good.

Well I know a little about a lot and I love to chat with people so anything and everything is interesting to me. I love questions, i love to cook, read, make art, watch movies, run :-). There are so many things I could list.
