Introduction Text Updated Jan. 2019 - I joined SparkPeople in Sep. 2006 and shed 15 lbs of fluff that I'd just figured I'd carry for the rest of my life. I spent hours a day tracking food, planning exercise, and corresponding with my Sparkfriends. I loved the way I looked for the first time ever, and kept it that way for a long time! That was over 12 years ago when I was in my mid-30s and the SparkPeople method worked easily for me. It's not easy any more and I find old methods aren't having the same success. The waist is getting thicker and I vacillate between acceptance, and "Aw, heck no! Not in this life!!" I choose to live the healthy life over the easy life! That is why I will not give up my Spark! I have always found great inspiration in my SparkFriends! Please add me as a friend or just drop by and say hello!
