Introduction Text Hi, my name is Molly. I am in my mid 40s, mom of 3 (oldest is 26, middle one is 25, and youngest is 19). I came here because I wanted to shed the excess 20-30 pounds I'd gained so I could stop "looking like a mom"... I used to get a lot of comments about how my daughters and I look like sisters and I'd like to get back to that! Well I'm there now, but not from dieting and exercising. I've been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and dysautonomia. I have a lot of GI issues with this, and nausea and general lack of appetite. So, I've lost 25 pounds. Now I am only on here to track nutrition, as I've come to realize how important that is to feeling the best I can possibly feel. The nutrition tracker here is great. I live in Minneapolis, MN although when I was a child I lived in San Simeon, CA, and I really miss it there. Hence, my username!

I'd like to wear the clothes I used to wear several years ago, that I can't seem to remove from my closet because that would be admitting defeat. I'd like to be able to share clothes with my daughters. I'd like to take a bath and not have my tummy float up. Not see saddlebags in the full length mirror. It's the little things, you know?

Trying to keep calories close to 1200 a day, not eat after 9 pm (to start with), keep sugary treats to a minimum, try to drink enough water, get enough sleep, and take a walk every day with my dog.

I'm from St. Paul, MN. I work at the U of M as an intellectual property paralegal. I am married for a little over 1 year, but my husband lives 20 minutes away with his 2 boys he has full custody of. I have a 24 year old son who is currently in a wheelchair living with me, and a 16 year old daughter and 22 year old daughter who are living with their dad (in the same neighborhood as me). The 16 yr old is supposed to be with me every other week but until my son is better, she is staying fulltime at her dad's.

I work with injured/sick wildlife on Sunday mornings. I'm a hockey mom. I wish I could save the world but I can barely run my own life :) I like to draw birds.
