The journey, the life journey, continues!
Next steps in this journey - and it's super exciting!
What is super exciting? Just life! Ok, ok, so it's really pretty normal but for me that's what needs to be super exciting. Not super exciting things every day or huge things happening every week, not even super huge milestones (that I know of yet - we shall see!) ever month...life should be exciting. Exciting is different for all of us - for me, it's exciting knowing that I get another day to be here, I get another day to find ...

What is super exciting? Just life! Ok, ok, so it's really pretty normal but for me that's what needs to be super exciting. Not super exciting things every day or huge things happening every week, not even super huge milestones (that I know of yet - we shall see!) ever month...life should be exciting. Exciting is different for all of us - for me, it's exciting knowing that I get another day to be here, I get another day to find joy in everyday things, and sometimes that means that I just make it through the day...it's life and I'm excited about it!
If you're dropping by there are somethings you should know about me:
*I am generally very optimistic - I have my moments and even days, but as a general rule, I try to find the bright side
*I am friendly - in real life I rarely meet a stranger - I'm very social
*I am not looking for someone to 'fix' me or to 'heal' me - not with body things, not with my relationship status, not with anything. I love support, but if you think I'm a project to help finish, I am the wrong person for you to connect with as I will likely offend you by not taking your 'fixing' - again - I love and welcome support, I do not need fixed
*I have been alone for a number of years - while initially it was the most painful thing ever, after the first year it has become the most amazing blessing in disguise - I have learned me, what I love, what my passions are, that I can do and experience so much, that the people I choose to have in my life are there because I really want them there - I have have really found me
*I struggle, I'm real (sometimes to a fault probably), I have very few filters, I always mean the best but am sure I fall short in portraying that along the way sometimes, I love life and when it's not the best I do my best to get back to there
As far as living healthier - I believe in moderation per what your body needs and how what I eat makes my body feel - along the lines of Intuitive Eating - it's not a free for all, it's not easy at first, and for me it works best in a combination of IE and awareness. The journey is one of learning - and I love learning!

My Goals:
My goals...my goals...
*Be happy
*Laugh way more than I cry
Health goals:
*Cook way more at home - really enjoy when I eat outside the house
*Get my knee and my back in healthy check
*Move my @$$ more - find the exercise I love and do it more
*Have healthy control over my sugar intake because too much sugar makes my body feel awful - I deserve better than that
*Keep up with my youngest kiddo and my dog :)
My Program:
Intuitive Eating (IE):
1. Reject the Diet Mentality - Throw out the diet books and magazine articles that offer you the false hope of losing weight quickly, easily, and permanently
2. Honor Your Hunger - Keep your body biologically fed with adequate energy and carbohydrates. Otherwise you can trigger a primal drive to overeat. Learning to honor this first biological signal sets the stage for rebuilding trust in yourself and in food.
3. Make Peace with Food - Call a truce; stop the food fight! Give yourself unconditional permission to eat. If you tell yourself that you can’t or shouldn’t have a particular food, it can lead to intense feelings of deprivation that build into uncontrollable cravings and, often, bingeing
4. Challenge the Food Police - Scream a loud "no" to thoughts in your head that declare you’re “good” for eating minimal calories or “bad” because you ate a piece of chocolate cake. The food police monitor the unreasonable rules that diet culture has created. All
