    Hey, thanks for checking up on me and for the kind thoughts. I definitely had a rough year or so physically but also know it could be worse. I just passed the one year mark of the bowel resection and daily thank the Lord for no colostomy and a full recovery. With my aging body and issues, I'm certain Galloway will always be my method for anything over a 5K. I ran my first full marathon in November and can not even begin to tell you how amazingly good I felt. Oh there were aches and pains and soreness, but nothing like I anticipated. Fully recovered within just a couple days.

    Well, my running schedule is a very modified Galloway finish method. Haha.
    I run 5 mile on Mon & Wed and then Fridays I will run either 6, 8, 10, 12, 14. I start with the 6 and then the next week 8, etc. Once I get to the 14 I just start over with the 6. Unless I have a race in there then I switch it more. Basically just trying to keep my endurance leve and still burn calories.

    IT Band is a tricky little thing.

    Hahaha...I'm starting to think ANYTHING in your 40's is an adventure!

    Trip was wonderful. It is always hard finding a female that you click with and we did from the start so that is always wonderful.

    I am a firm believer of the 3 day a week run rule. It has done me well.
    I am following the ST plan in the New Rules of Weight Lifting for Women book and love it.

    Appt went as I suspected. Bicep tendonitis. Started another NSAID. If not better in 2-3 weeks then injection. It had already started feeling better and I almost cx'd my appt but hubby insisted. So, hopefully by April I will be back to normal.....whatever that is! Ha!

    I am going crazy trying to pack for this HM this weekend. The weather is now currently predicted to be 45 and 70% chance of rain. I have no idea how to run in that. It will be an interesting but very fun weekend.

    Hi! I'm a runner as well! I trained similar to how you did....starting out with 5k's, 10k's...1/2 marathons. Yet I haven't quite tackled a marathon yet!! I would love to add you as a friend for inspiration! You're doing great!!
