    Your not alone. I also gained weight when I quit smoking, I gained 30 lbs. I am 5'4" tall and was 200lbs. I am now 170 fit and healthy.

    The most effective thing that I did was to track what I was eating and to calculate the calories associated with what I was eating. In order to lose 1 pound you have to reduce your calorie intake by 3500 calories. Using 2000 calories as a start cut your calorie intake by 500 calories a day x 7 days equals 3500 or 1 lb. It works. I started losing about 1 to 1.5 lbs a week. Exercise is a must to stay fit and healthy, it's not only about the weight. u can do it. Get determined. Cut the portion sizes, eat more frequently, about 6 times a day. Eat less calories. Check the label's on food and select the one with less calories. One example is try yogurt that is light rather then regular yogurt, buy light juice rather then regular juice, you will start to reduce your calorie intake. It's rather simple, you need to reduce your calorie intake.
