Introduction Text I'M BACK! I was first here for a short while in 2006(VDUB150). Then illnesses took over my life, I am on disability now, but am finally trying to do things for ME. I did eventually lose 50 pounds, but in the last 9 months I have gained 25 of those back, so I am here once again to focus on losing that and more. I am now 39 years old, married to a wonderful man, we have a great 20 yr old son and 4 furry babies. I want to be healthier, happier and have a better life. AND I NEED LOTS OF ENCOURAGEMENT!

My goal is to learn to eat healthier and be more active and to be able to stick to it long term.

1. Eat 5 servings of fruits/veggies , Drink 8 glasses of water a day 2. smaller portions, weigh and measure if needed, follow portion size on labels, etc. 3. Log into Sparkpeople everyday and enter food eaten and exercise done. 4. Do more chores around the house, rather than just sitting at the computer, 5. Find cheap things to do around town, work on genealogy/findagrave program, etc,

I am on Disability due to: 1) Marfan Syndrome, 2) scoliosis, 3) lordosis, 4) spondylolisthesis, 5) Chronic Low back pain, 6) piriformis syndrome, 7) CIDP (Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy), 8)Fibromyalgia, 9)Depression, 10) carpal tunnel syndrome 11) High Cholesterol, 12) pre- Diabeties (were watcing it), 13) Guillain-Barre Syndrome, 14) chronic headaches and migraines, 15) fatigue, and 16) obesity I have to be very careful with the activities I participate in. I get tired very easily. I get bored very easily.

I enjoy Genealogy, Photography and suspense/detective shows, I want to learn how to do crafts, make things for gifts. I used to enjoy: reading, hiking, biking, shopping, playing sports, playing with my son, playing with my dogs, vacationing, and working (sometimes).
