Hi, I'm Courtney. I've been on SparkPeople since January 2011 and have found great success here, mainly due to the wonderfully supportive community I've been blesed to be a part of. 2013 was a year of great loss for me and 2015 made me a MOMMY. My original goal was to lose weight and look good in CLOTHES! That goal has morphed into being happier and healthier for myself and my family and, ultimately, live a long and happy life. Fitness Minutes: 22,902

My Goals:
Following a plan of losing 1-2 pounds a week, I'd like to lose 50 lbs (done!) by Feb 2012 and 100lbs by May 2013 (90 lbs gone)! But overall, I just want to be happier, healthier, and more comfortable with my body.


My Program:
My "program" is sporadic. I just like to have fun and be active. Some DVDs that I like are Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred and Bob Harper's Beginner Weight Loss. I'm learning to hula hoop! I'm swimming and taking a water aerobics class! I'm trying yoga! When at the gym, I use the elliptical, AMT, and stair master.



Personal Information:
I've been married since October 2009 and am amazed on a daily basis how much love I can have for another human being. We'd love to have babies in a couple years (despite my mom's pleas for NOW) and I want to be as healthy as possible for when that time comes.


Other Information:
I'm 5'10" ... or so the doctor's office tells me!

    You know how I do! emoticon

    It’s that time again… we are now boarding and headed to (drum roll)
    the Canadian Rockies. emoticon

    So it’s 6,541 miles to our next destination. emoticon
    If we use our time wisely, (and post what we did ASAP) we can arrive there by Monday. emoticon

    Say we divide our mileage by 2, that give us 3,270.5 miles/minutes per day.
    If we divide that between 40 of us, each one would have to do 82 minutes of exercise… that’s an hour and twenty-two minutes. emoticon

    Can we do this???
    I dare say, “We can!” emoticon

    So get out there and strut your stuff. emoticon
    Or stay in-doors and sweat to the oldies. emoticon
    Just move, Awesome A’s and we will land at our destination in no time! emoticon

    Don’t forget to get in that sleep. emoticon Uh, which I really need to consider doing at this point…. The good news? Every full hour up to 9, counts towards the team points!!!



    I say we go check out the Winter Olympics in Sochi, next!
