Thanks for the note on my blog. He does really, really well in school and is a top-notch reader, so that's really good. He brought home straight A's last year, and is off to a good start this year, too.

My husband teaches Kenpo and takes Systema here in town, so he's going to start martial arts with Sam when he thinks Sam's ready for it. Sam really enjoys going to the weight room and working out with his dad. :) He certainly has loads of ability, it's motivation he lacks. I have a BIG problem with that too, so he gets it from me. I just want to try to nip it in the bud, so to speak, so it's not a life-long problem or obstacle.

Thanks again!! Have a great day!

I don't know if you remember my blog about a person at work that...lacked professionalism. Your reply was to tell me about a nightmare of a person you had at work that chose to pick on you, and how you treated her with kindness.

Well, I just wanted to say that I took your advice, and treated my coworker very nice, even going so far as to buy her a package of these candies that she really liked that I kept on my desk so that she wouldn't have to trek all the way across the cube farm to get some.

This morning I found out that she was fired. I can't say that I am happy, because I know how devestating it can be to lose a job, and even though I didn't like her, I didn't wish her any harm. But I am relieved to a degree.

So thanks for your timely advice.

    Take care!

Thanks for your comments on my blog. I ended up way over yesterday. I am so bad with breakfast because I never have time to cook in the morning. Miso soup is a good idea for breakfast, I love Japanese breakfasts (I am half Japanese). Now I just have to have time to cook it (or heat it up, we have no microwave). :-) Breakfast has always been my weak spot because I am very picky about what I eat in the morning.

Just wanting to know if this Buddhist group is still active. I seem to be having a difficult time posting anything. I've been a practicing Tibetan Buddhist for 7 year and really like what you had to say about this health journey having so much to do with karma. I do hope this group is still active. Thanks

Hello:) I found you on Jouletep's page giving directions to cook steel cut oats which I myself love to eat with soy milk along with avocados and got my interest up to pay you a house call! Your page is very interesting. I love the way your thoughts flow so smoothly. I'm looking forward to getting to know better and being friends.
