    Well, I don't know if this will help or not but I learned a tip from a fellow dieter that I now use when going out to eat. If you can, check the restaurant's website before you leave and decide from the menu what you are going to have before you even get there. It can stop you from making a hasty choice if you are feeling pressured by the presence of family and friends who aren't dieting or by a pushy server who is in a rush to take your order. As for making a bad decision today...that's okay! It happens to all of us more often than we want it too! It was just a bump in the road and it's where you go from here that will make the difference. So quit beating yourself up over it and go workout. The best thing you can do for your self-esteem right now is to NOT GIVE UP!

    So where are you falling off exactly? You say that you are splurging...on what? Meals? Snacks? Desserts? If you can be more specific then maybe we can brainstorm some ideas to get you through the rough patches. My weakness is ice cream after dinner, so I have a recipe for faux ice cream sandwiches that costs me a guilt-free 100 calories! I also have a problem with portion control so I have two identical sets of dinner plates, one smaller and one larger. I use the smaller ones when I am starving and would likely overeat, or when the meal is higher in fat & calories and I need to be extra careful about the portions. Well, I really hope that one of these ideas helps...if not then we can try to figure out something more suited to your needs!
