YAY! It looks like it was quite a bit east of you?

I was happy to see it missed you, but that storm surge! So sad for everyone in that region!

It was a fun concert - I enjoyed it! Always enjoy Gilbert and Sullivan, as well - our mother sang in a couple of choruses in some G & S productions in our community.

Be safe in Hurricane Laura - I hope you only get the outside edge, but still, that can be really bad! Stay inside, and hunker down - I'll be thinking of you!

Wow, your daughter's singing is amazing!!!! She has such a full and rich voice!!! I knew she must be good, given that she was doing all this work, but wow, she really is incredible!

Thank you for sending that link to me - I enjoyed all of them!!! (The coordinator seemed to me to feel that your daughter's voice really is something special!)

That sounds crazy with the testing!!! But the US took a whole different approach from other places - and our approach isn't working as well as, oh, South Korea. Oh well, we work with what we've got, even if it's someone in charge who has no idea how to deal with this kind of situation.

We're in southern New Jersey, far from the part of the state with all the cases - that's up north. We're about 15-20 minutes from Richard's brother and SIL. We're staying in a hotel for 2 weeks, and then we'll move in with them for a while. Or as long as they can stand us, I guess. Not sure what will happen next - it's hard to plan anything when we're all waiting to see what happens with this crazy virus.
