Welcome to my page. (how original!)

I'm not sure what happened in April 2008, but it seems like a switch was flipped in my brain that said, ok, it's time to get fit. Not to go on a diet, but to change to a healthier lifestyle permanently.

Small changes, gradual changes, trying things that I've never done before. Eating better. Moving more. Turning both of those things into habits.

And it seems to be working.

Definitely working, I've lost 30 pounds since April 2008 using SparkPeople. Exercising (both cardio and strength), making healthier choices in the food I eat, and doing it for ME. Getting a LOT of good feedback from people who are important to me about the positive changes in me.

Now down 37 pounds in a little less than a year. This feels like something I could do for the rest of my life.

Well, I guess I kind of fell off the wagon. After losing 40 pounds-ish, about 15 of them have crept back on, and I am sure it's because I'm not eating the way I was. So, I'm climbing back on the wagon and going to fit back into those jeans which I used to be able to fit into.

Started Medifast 3/9/12 at 147. Now at 122-124 depending on the day. Thank you Medifast!
