    emoticon to Spark! You definitely have the right attitude to kick cancer's behind! Just start fueling your body with wholesome plant-based foods, and you'll begin to feel so good that you won't even miss the junk food! Don't try to do it all at once. Just start replacing one thing at a time, or committing to changing one behavior at a time. All those baby steps will really begin to add up and you'll start feeling healthier.     Good idea to focus on the health aspects of eating better and moving more. The weight loss will come and so will feeling so much better.

    You'll get a lot of good information on Spark with the articles and a supportive community. You can check out my page to learn what worked for me. I didn't do it all at once; rather I made small changes that I incorporated in to my life. For example I started taking my lunch to work -- sandwich and reduced fat chips. Gradually dropped the chips most days for a salad...then dropped the chips all together. Started having a BIG salad instead of the sandwich. Joined the Meatless Monday movement to move to a more plant-based diet.

    Take it slow and steady and you'll succeed.

    Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.

    1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.

    2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.

    The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Spark friends are here for support, motivation and encouragement. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle! Again, welcome to the SP family!

    Sorry about your breast cancer diagnosis. Way too many people are fighting cancer.
