Hmm. . . it's been 8 months since I was last on SP, and much has changed. . . but much is still the same. Coping with my mother's and disabled brother's illnesses for the past 18 months has been a rollercoaster of a journey.

Along the way, I've been able to get back to running, complete a triathlon, and learn to play the ukulele! And I've begun to work seriously on my writing.

I have not kept off the weight I lost, but I am getting back on track again, with new challenges. I am now the proud owner of a CPap machine (my new best friend) and a light therapy box. I am currently undergoing testing for numerous health issues, but I'm hopeful that everything will work itself out eventually. I realize now that longterm stress can take its toll, and I am trying to get back into my stress-reducing exercise routines again (just working around the health issues. . .)

So. . . I'm back again! Thank you to all my SparkFriends for the goodies you sent in my absence. You are wonderful. . .

Fitness Minutes: 7,118

My Goals:
Find out what is causing my IBS-like problems and learn how to eat well without triggering more attacks.

Lose weight so that I can take part in all the activities I love with less risk of injury.

Get back into a regular fitness routine, working around the IBS problems.

Do another triathlon.

My Program:
Run/bike/swim--starting up gently again.

Keep a food diary to learn what I can and can't eat.

Use my CPap regularly--I feel so much better now that I have it!
