-Female variety obese type 1 person.-

- I swear like a sailor and I still engage in poor behaviors despite my desire to be more healthy. I do not see these things as mutually exclusive. -

- Vegan. I aim for WFPBNO, but always vegan. But I'm not a d*ck about it.-

- In general, I am cynical. Specifically, I can be quite understanding and accepting of things. -

- Married, with one human offspring (born July 2014), 1 bastard cat, 7/8 of a very good dog, and 15/16 of a very excited puppy.

- I am a stubborn scientific atheist. I tend towards the Dawkins type of atheism, as I have seen religion function to disinfranchise and stagnate civilizations far more than help them. As long as you don't pray for me though, we'll be okay. -

***NOTE: If you insist on praying for me-- I will delete your comments. My page is a prayer free, religious free area.***

My spark-iquette is as follows:

I love comments. I will comment on your blog, and I will be honest but kind or at least civil. I'm wordy, but I don't expect you to be for me.

When I receive comments, I love them. I read them carefully and savor each word.

I am not an "I love you too" person. Each comment I get, each sparkgoodie, is cherished, but I do not immediately respond with a comment or sparkgoodie in return. I want this journey to be cumulative and growing and real and appreciated-- so when I give a goodie, it's because there is something specific that I want to do for the recipient, be it encouragement, celebration, sympathy, or just plain goofiness. Same thing for comments.

I clean out my friends list regularly. I want this journey to be vibrant and reciprocal. I can't do that with 300 friends that never comment or flat out leave spark for 6 months. If you ever fall off the wagon, please sparkmail me if you come back & want to reconnect!

"SMILE. You are beautiful. Believe it." ~SRWYLIE, a fantabulous, truly good and honestly positive force on spark. He left this comment on one of my blogs when I was feeling down. It's my new mantra.

"I subscribe to the balance theory, that says that when I'm having a super rotten week, it means somewhere in the world someone is having the best week of their life. I try to be grateful for that, instead of angry and resentful. Once or twice I succeed." ~TURTLERASKIN, sparkfriend extraordinaire.

" Knowledge is not enough, people. It takes action to change the world. " ~FLY0NTHEWAL1, another sparkfriend of wisdom

"if I had a nickel for every piece of advice sent my way when it comes to "how you should eat"... I would pay for a brain transplant into the sexiest body I want to live in." ~IRISHBEANERGAL- an effing genius that makes me laugh my @ss off

"The good news is you are still here and Sparking. As long as you are doing that, you are still in touch with your healthy goals. " ~JAMIELOGICAL - a superior grounding force and realist whom I very much admire on spark.

"Don't bother to set goals, it's too easy to either fail, or achieve them and stop, just do as much with each day as you can. " ~STONECOT- a superwoman, who inspires me, makes me laugh, comforts me, helps me feel normal when I'm paranoid and not normal. She's simply awesome.

If you are not hungry enough to eat an apple, you are not hungry. ~Michael Pollan

If I have lost confidence in myself, I have the universe against me. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

To be happy is to be able to become aware of oneself without fright. ~Walter Benjamin

Where there is life, there is hope. ~Grover (Sesame Street)

Yes! If you want to join in now is the perfect time. Space is not limited and time is not quite running out lol. We used to be part of the BLC here on SP but wanted less time on the computer so we have some fun challenges but made them a a bit more simple.
    So- what it is -
3 teams competing against each other for weight loss and minutes of cardio and ST and team challenges.
    8 weeks long.
Way to keep each other accountable and have fun and support to get to goals and I think it would be great to have another WFPB member!
I can give you an invite. You will also need to be part of the All teams and if you want to be on my team we are the Neon NINJAS.
I will go double check with our top leader emoticon

As you can see next to my name here, tim and tom tomato are two of many various red tomatoes gracing my kitchen and tummy. I will be freezing them to use for cooking later. I've had enough tomatoes for a while now. I will make chili and soup down the road and stopped naming the tomatoes. The eye stickers needed to be used somewhere.
