You’re funny, your recycle update. We contract privately for trash/recycling here. Four different providers are used on our street alone. Outside the city, we have a choice. Not so in the “city.” Glass isn’t recycled toooooo far to the nearest plant to actually recycle the stuff. With COVID, nothing can be outside or placed between bins. It’s nice there are places where large quantities can be taken, earth needs us to care. So do our grands!

Flu shots here on Friday. Zero issues for me, the boyfriend also had the shingles vaccine in the same arm. He was miserable. Let’s hope it actually protects against the flu this year...

We are so rural that no one wants to provide garbage collection. Most people haul off their heavy duty stuff themselves to recycling centers and they pay us for it. Otherwise people end up with gigantic dumps.

Thank you. It is a picture is from Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. It is the view across the harbour is of three prominent churches: St James' Anglican; St John's Evangelical Lutheran; and Trinity United. The three churches have become an iconic image of Nova Scotia, frequently photographed and featured on postcards and calendars. Someone posted the picture on Facebook and I couldn't resist borrowing it.
