I know how it is having to go to the bathroom a couple of times a night that is for sure. Thank you for your comment on my sparkpage. It is ever soooo much nicer to be able to just walk normally down the stairs one foot in front of the other nowadays. I never want to have to go back to the other way. I am 52 and felt like I was 100 walking up and down stairs like that. Good luck to you! PS I am one of Susan134's biggest fans 4030 days ago

Thank you so much for the friend add! I just added you too. Like Deb (Saldaba6) said below, start slow. Also, really check out all the fabulous resources here on this site. Amazing tools, but best of all for me, is the support.

Start slowly and build yourself up to more cardio when you feel strong enough to do so. Also begin strength training by doing one set of ten reps of whatever you wish to do. I find that the two sets of fifteen reps that SP set out for me at the beginning was far too much at the time, and it threw me off of strength training. Luckily I pay attention to my body and do things my way. I use a recumbant stationary bike for my cardio and started at no intensity 10 minutes a few times a week and built up to where I have upped the intensity a bit and can go 50 minutes without problems daily. I have been working on this since May 2009 . Good luck on your journey and just remember everything in moderation. Welcome to SP. 4032 days ago
