Introduction Text I am a Christian wife, mother of 4 wonderful boys, and grandmother to 8 exceptional grandkids (who's prejudiced?!) who is trying to eat the way God wants me to. In my case, this means cutting out most 'simple' carbs, as I seem to be 'addicted' to them ('can't stop eating...."). I am looking for support, encouragement, and accountability.

Limit simple carbs to no more than 1 per day. Trust God for satisfaction apart from simple carbs.

Spend time daily in prayer and reading God's Word. Check in with others for accountability. Keep track of simple carbs honestly every day.

I have lived in multiple states, and also overseas (jungles of Africa!). I have been 'addicted' to simple carbs as long as I can remember--stealing and gorging since I was very small. I am often seen as a role model Christian, yet know in my heart how far I fall short in obedience--especially in the area of eating, pride, and self-centered. Sigh. I love to read, write, sing, and enjoy God's creation.
