The story behind my user-name ...Well! When i found out all the cool things you can do on MySparkpeople.com i thought to myself "Oh Yeahhhhh!" haha...anyway!

HI! My name is Billy, My weight at the time i created this profile is 195 pounds.

I honestly don't know what my start weight was... I'm thinking it was around 220 -215 pounds. Whatever it was all i know for sure is i was a uncomfortable fat somebody. Some of you know what i mean.

I started February 5th, 2007 on a low calorie diet. and did real well with it...The first two weeks i fought myself over temptation and barely won those fights.

This week my focus has become allot clearer, causing me to look for an on-line food tracker, I searched and searched, but found nothing. Then a coworker told me about this website...Man!!! i got more than I could ask for with this place....This is great!

Recently, I have this need to share my thoughts and accomplishments with people, but have found that I can be annoying to some friends and co-workers when talking about it. I mean, I get it! I completely understand that everything can't be all about Me-Me-Me. But, you know! this is a great big step for me, and i can't help but to be proud of myself and want others to be proud as well... That's why I am SO GLAD I found this site, to be able to discuss my progress with others that have and are struggling with weight.

Through this epiphany, I have encompassed the help of my wife and dog to help me along the way. lol....My wife and I both have made bad choices in our eating habits for the nine years we have been married. I admire her for taking on my challenge to lose weight along beside me.

My Goals:
My goals? Well? Ummm!

I want to be able to wear better looking clothes and look better in them.

A lot of people say they want their goal to be a healthier lifestyle...don't get me wrong...I want that too, but to me a healthier lifestyle is just an end result of shooting for my selfish and self absorbed goal of having a better wardrobe.


My Program:
My diet program is just a common sense approach to eating better.

1. I was drinking like 8 - 10 Mountain Dew's a day, I have changed that to 8 - 10 glasses of water a day and a few diet sodas now and then.

2. It was nothing for me to eat McDonald's twice a day...I'm talking about 2 ham egg and cheese biscuits and two hash browns and a soda at breakfast ...2 double cheese burgers, fries and soda for lunch...Fast food again for dinner and often I would make a big pan of chicken nuggets for a late night snack....ALL THAT HAS CHANGED.

Breakfast now is some fruit or quaker cereal with 1% milk. Lunch might be some broiled flounder with steamed veggies or and a rice cake or an orange. Soup and salad or chicken for dinner with veggies on the side. I might snack on some Edamame while watching TV.

3. Saturday Night I give myself a free meal, (within reason)

If i have been craving a cheeseburger all week, i might treat myself to one.

    Omgoshhhhh!!!! I took a long break from sparks and even dieting... about 5 months or so... I still managed to loose a few pounds during my break and well now I am back... full of engery... advice... and ready to get advice from you too.... I LOVE SPARKS but needed a break!!! Let me know what's up... I will soon add some new pics!!!

    Hey there Rex! I am glad that you are back to watching what you eat again....after the weekend at the beach you definitely need to. :) Don't let me have to take care of you like that ever again. Once is enough. Had fun, though! You will be back down before you know it. You really need to put some better pictures of me on your site than the 2 you have. They both are from like 5 years ago and heaven forbid, this is a weigthloss site, you put one of me eating on there. For the love of Liza!! Try to overcome your McD's urges and you will be fine.

    Wow! You look awesome!! The pictures are great! I enjoyed them... We had a great weekend and Sunday was the best at the beach with my bikini...lol.... ha hah ahah... I will be posting some of those pics on here today... :)
