Introduction Text I did a half marathon the other day (10/24/10). I can't really say I ran it because I am so frigging slow. I came in 1722 out of 1791. I honestly could not care if I came in at 1791 - I finished. I am happy with that. But, I just got a link to the race pictures. And, it killed me. I honestly had no idea I was that friggin big. So, it's time to get my butt in gear and get to a healthy, comfortable weight.

I'm 50 now. My true, long term goal, is to do the Bermuda Walking Marathon for my 75th birthday with my wife and kids. I figure if I am healthy enough to do that at that age, have my kids want to do that with me then and pay for the kids and their families at that time, I will have had a damn good life. But, my immediate goal is to get healthy enough to make it that long. Oh, and to wear a "large" shirt instead of a 2XL.

Trying to figure that out.

It's a bunch of squirrels in a huddle chanting that and it says before starting their day, squirrels must first pump themselves up. Hit my first long term goal of breaking 35 minutes on a 5k on 9/20/14 - 3.12 miles in 35 minutes!
