Update 4/17/20 Only two weeks til the new baby comes. I really thought I'd be retired and WAY past this by now, but such is life. Having littles has kept me so much more active. Having the husband home all the time has not been as bad as I thought and we never have enough hours in the day to do what we want around the farm! Not losing weight, but loving life!

Update 2/6/20 Well, I've gained 25 lbs back, from being lazy about food, overindulgence, and not exercising. I'm trying to get back on track. Logging, exercising, being consistent. I did it once, I can do it again, right?

Update 11-19-19 Last of the surgeries is finally over, all the med stuff done for the year. The niece is having another baby so I'll be re-structuring life again so I can help. I gained 12 lbs throughout all this and didn't worry about it. Now I'm worrying and it's much harder to get back with it!

Update 8-28-19 surgeries are over. I still can't exercise like I'd like, but I'm back to most of my normal activities. I haven't been here and logging, but I need to start again. I didn't track food and didn't worry too much about staying on my food plan, and I've put on about 10 lbs during this couple of months. I'm not going to let it get to me since there was just too much going on, but I've got to start again and get serious about
it.

Update 5/30/19 I have surgeries coming up that will slow my exercise routine and increase pain, but ultimately I hope it will help make things better. I took a week off to wallow in self-pity, but got bored with that. So I re-arranged my goals to accommodate life's changes, and I'm back at it. No weight lost, but maintaining the weight I've lost in a wheelchair is a win! 60 lbs, and that's not counting the ups and downs from medications!

Update 4/3/19 I'm in the groove for exercising, but have some difficult injuries because of FMS. Night eating is still a challenge, but I'm willing to keep trying! I know the chronic UTI I've had for 2 years will require surgery, so I'm trying to get things as strong and flexible as possible. I can't even see a specialist til May!

Update 2/8/19 Learning about SMART goals and tweaking my own goals to make them achievable has really helped! I'm accomplishing things I never thought I'd be able to and my therapist finally is telling me she wants to see me once a month (after 35 years of weekly or biweekly sessions). I'm so proud and thankful!

Update: 1-21-19 I WAS treated for HCV a couple of years ago, even with the weight I had I think it's made a huge difference

Update 1-15-19, I've lost 50 lbs and now I'm working on new goals to be healthier and have less pain.

I have lots of physical problems that cause weight gain and prevent exercise. I MUST lose 100 lbs in order to be treated for Hepatitis C. I need to have accountability and support in order to do this. I hope to find it here.

My Goals:
I've basically got to start over with logging and exercise being the things that work for me.


My Program:
I've been learning to use all the spark site tools and it's helped. People are noticing the weight loss. Now I'm trying to tweak my program.



Personal Information:
I bought a recumbent trike last year and hope to use it to bike on paved paths this year. I keep my 4 yr old great nephew a couple of days a week, which I love. We're farmers, gardeners, food preppers, readers and generally love our life.


Other Information:
I recently bought an elliptical machine which is kicking my butt!
