This time I'll do it!


I have finally reached that point in my life where I've internalized the importance of being fit and healthy. I'm nearing retirement and I want to be able to enjoy it! I know this will be a long process and there are no quick fixes. I love the support I get from SparkPeople, and I hope I in turn can support you!

My Goals:
I want to have a fit, active, healthy retirement. As I've aged, I've become serious about this. Why couldn't I have started in my teens???

I'm from North Dakota and am a psych/mental health nurse in a large health system here. I work in the outpatient clinic. My husband and I camp and garden, and I'm trying to learn to be a better photographer.

    We did have bad weather, did it miss you? It moved across ND to Minnesota, from west to east. Tornado touch down half hour away, the get in shelter now massive loud alarm came over the phones. We had a big mess, but not too bad this time, we spent yesterday and today cleaning up the downed trees and such. Power came back on now. Tree fell on a power line down the road. There was a chunk of cement on our garage roof that wasn't even from our property and we live in the country.
