Board Posts my title says...*grin* I've been at this for quite awhile...of course, my usual routine would be to vow to start my diet (always, "tomorrow"), do great for about five or six hours, then succumb to some sort of peer pressure... it's for real.... I get overwhelmed sometimes, though, with the amount that I have to lose and how long and difficult the process is going to be.... here goes! :0)

Lots has happened since I created this of the more important things is that I gained back the weight that I lost by ceasing the soda intake...*sigh* lots of personal life drama. So, my best friend decided to go and take off 60+ pounds with or without me...and succeeded. So, instead of sitting here, feeling sorry for myself that *I* haven't lost the kind of weight she has, and watching her be SO GOOD at it, AND letting the jealousy monster eat me alive, I'm going to try, Mer-Mer...I'm going to follow after you--my inspiration--and maybe we *can* be beach-side in bikinis by the end of summer, eh?

Sheesh...another update? This can't be good...well, it's not...since my last update, I've gained about 50lbs (yikes), and have no one or thing to blame but myself. Couple that with the fact that my best friend lives in another county (my support system, right Mer Mer?), getting married (again) and having a baby (again), I'm just a train wreck... so...we start yet once again...maybe this time?

My Goals:
My goals are rather simple:
1) To lose all that weight that I gained since high school
2) To be able to shop in a regular store for regular size clothes
3) To be able to play outside with my children--and not be afraid of being seen doing it!

My Program:
Hubby and I are juicing one to two meals per day ala "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead". Otherwise, watching my caloric intake and starting the workouts slow by keeping track of steps with my new pedometer.

    She has kept it off 7+ years and is a highly paid motivational speaker. One small step at time, one day at a time.

    Glad you are back! I visited your page every once in awhile and wondered.

    I started at 315lbs and am now 262. I know what 300+ feels like, and it's hard just to live.

    Brenda Willis was overweight her entire adult life, and lost 140+lbs on The Step Diet. And kept it off. You can, too. I've had a life-long problem with exercise; The Step Diet is "THE" answer for me. All you need is a pedometer. Nothing else. If you don't have one, then just look at your watch and walk for 5 mins.

    You can do it too. You have to want it. As you will it, so shall it be.

    Hello! My name is Debs and I had to introduce myself to you. I found you through the 4HrDiet group. You seem very nice and we have a lot in common, it looks like! I figure the more support I can gather around me, the better. :D

    Like you, I've attempted weight loss about 293048930242 times in my short 23 years. I always feel held back and jealous that other people manage to lose weight but not me, because I have the disadvantage of PCOS and being weak-willed. ;)
